NFL Europe -- Dead

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2920738

Look, let's face it, you don't fold a league that has an overwhelming level of fan support and corporate support. So cut the crap Commish. The league never averaged 20,000 fans a game and by the end of the league (recently dubbed "NFL Europa" -- clever) 5 of the 6 teams were in Germany with one in Amsterdam.

This is basically like starting a new U.S. league and having 5 of the 6 teams located in Texas with one in St. Louis.

So how does the NFL reward the Germans (their only remaining fans)? With a regular season game....................in London...........Arg.
