The Hamstring Giveth, And The Hamstring Taketh Away

Chauncey Billups left last night's tilt with a hamstring injury, leading me to recall how the "Bad Boys" ended up with their first NBA title -- Byron Scott and Magic Johnson, out with blown hammies:

Perhaps now, 19 years later, karma is finally catching up with the Pistons???

I was watching "Stump the Schwab" yesterday and the question was, "Joe Dumars blocked the three-point shot of what Lakers rookie to win Game 3 of the 1989 NBA Finals?"

Answer -- David Rivers. The Lakers were also forced to use Jeff Lamp in that series......yikes.

Don't forget how Detroit got completely screwed the year before with the Laimbeer foul on Jabaar in game 6 then again in game 7 when the Lakers fans rushed the court with 1.3 seconds left.
