I always feel really good around the Christmas season, or when I am talking about the Christmas season, so if you want items that feature the word Christmas:

you cannot really go wrong.
But for my all-time favorite, I turn to a nice, pleasant non-train-wreck Christmas dating story that I repeated in a local bar one night. It led the 30 year old female bartender to eavesdrop and, when I paused, say, "Come on, let's hear more of that story...that is a great story."
The story is actually a rare feel good post, so it may play better at the holidays, but we shall see, I guess.
Since the "girl" in the story is +7 on me, that would make her now 53 years old. Wow.
Enjoy again, or for the first time: http://hoopramblings.blogspot.com/2007/12/hm-christmas-story.html

I thought that the Marcus WIlliams post would be the best, because of the comments (miss Andy's commments on your blog and mine, and I have to bring back my Top Sports WAGs column to get PAR's great comments). But this is absolutley #1. I predict that some one will read this and it be the basis of a sit com episode.
K and I disagree again. A great story-- but not close to the post you have ranked number 2.
BTW-- what happenned? Never talk to her again? Had been fired and movbed away when you got back from Albany? Another (undisclosed) train wreck??
Was fired while I was away. I never heard from her again. So, not a great ending, but not some horrible train wreck.
As I told K, in 1984-85 we had no cell phones, no texting, no email, no facebook. When I lost track of someone, it was very hard to find them again.
